Lisa Kudrow is guest-starring on the January 6 episode of Cougar Town, playing someone who will NOT be there for Courteney Cox’s character, Jules. Says EP Bill Lawrence,
They didn’t want to play friends. She plays a dermatologist who is a horrible, horrible person, but [Cox] goes to her because she’s the best. The [sight] of them playing people who dislike each other intensely was very funny for me to watch.
It’s kind of like when Brad Pitt guested on Friends as Rachel’s mortal enemy. Let’s hope this appearance is not another self-fulfilling prophecy.
