lost: another long-lost sibling?

be calm. there's no way the alt-reality can last all season. // abc promotional photo
IMDB isn’t the most reliable of spoiler sources, but they’ve got a little casting information up for the first several episodes that certainly corroborates some things we already knew … and some more stuff we had no idea was coming. Spoilers after the jump.
Most notably, Alexis Bledel is listed in the credits for “LA X, Part 2,” as a character called Janna Austen. We haven’t heard anything about this character whatsoever, so that’s definitely interesting. Most importantly, her name implies that she’s related to Kate somehow. We may even read into her first name, which is reminiscent of Kate’s stepfather’s last name, Janssen. Is it possible that she’s Kate’s alternate-reality sister? Could Kate be the long-lost third Gilmore girl???
Meanwhile, this little boy is listed as the character David in “Lighthouse,” the Jack-centric fifth episode. I always get intrigued about kids, especially in Jack or Kate’s flashbacks/forwards, but I’m not going to read too much into this one.
And finally, this little boy is listed as the character Sam in the sixth episode, “Sundown.” The kid is Hispanic, I believe, but he could definitely play Sayid and Nadia’s alternate-reality child, right?
Anyway, take that all as seriously as you want to–as I said, IMDB isn’t the most reliable for things like that. But it’s at least interesting to think about for now…
