grey’s: love triangles heating up
You know Grey’s. Even though last week’s medically-focused episode was actually compelling, and even though tonight’s Derek-centric episode has me secretly glad Fringe isn’t new, they wouldn’t be happy unless they were creating unnecessary relationship drama between at least some of the characters.
Well, now not one, but two relationships look to be hitting the skids pretty soon.
Kim Raver is joining the cast soon (for an unspecified length of time) as Teddy, an old colleague of Owen’s. (I don’t like her already, just because her name is Teddy.) She’s set to stir up some drama between Owen and Cristina. I’m sure it will take up a lot of time that could be used on better storylines. TV Guide also reports that new doc Jackson may also see some sparks fly with Cristina–seems like Cristina and Hunt’s relationship is in for a rough arc.
Meanwhile, Leven Rambin (another excellent name) is also making some guest appearances–but we don’t really know anything about her character. She tweeted the other day, “Gayheart better watch. Her. Back. I’m coming for McSteamy!,” leading many to believe that she’ll prove problematic for Mark and Lexie. (She might have just been talking about her own real life crush on Eric Dane, for which I can’t blame her for but which she might want to keep off Twitter.)
