EW’s got a sneak peek at Barney Stinson like you’ve never seen him before–incredibly overweight. EP Carter Bays says, “It’s a phenomenon that a lot of people can relate to, certainly more than a few people on our writing staff. It’s relationship gut.”
Although I’m still not sold on Robin/Barney (sorry!), that picture is definitely worth 1,000 words, including ludicrous and hysterical. Whether or not this is HIMYM reality or one of their little flashes of silly has yet to be determined, but whatever it is, I like it.
