bones: flashback official!

Stephen Nathan confirms to Michael Ausiello (gee, EW sure is getting all the scoops today, huh?) that Bones will indeed flash back to Booth and Brennan’s first case together in the 100th episode, this spring:

We’ll be there for the first time those two personalities clashed.  Events will conspire to make them come out of the case hating each other and vowing that they will never work together again.

You know what I think would be hilarious?  If they slept together back in the day. I would just die. (Actually, I’d probably be pretty pissed, but before that, I’d laugh really hard.)

So, thoughts? Will they be able to get Brennan’s season one hair done the right way?  Will they be able to track down some of those season one chunky necklaces?  Will David and Emily be able to recapture Booth and Brennan’s super-tense relationship of yesteryear?

Think they’ll get Eric Millegan back as Zack? What about Goodman? Are we right in assuming this would be a Cam- and Sweets-less episode?  Or will the episode take place in real time, with flashes to the past as Booth and Brennan recall their first case?  (Maybe the killer went uncaught and now he’s back!)

And of course, most importantly, if they are just remembering their very first case, it is going to stir up feelings once they realize how far they’ve come since then?  Will they make out???

Probably not, but the idea’s still fun.
